Coefficient of Friction Lab Continues |
OPENING QUESTION: This lab *requires* that you include a graph. That graph must include both μs and μk ═══════════════════════════ Today's work is centered around that requirement: Last year's students dilligently created graphs and added them to their lab reports. With just one or two exceptions, those graphs were basically irrelevent. Those instances showed both values but it was impossible to do *any* analysis or summary based on the graphs. Work with your team to finish taking any data lacking for finding the coefficient of static friction (μs) and/or the coefficient of kinetic friction (μk) ═══════════════════════════ Then work with your team to determine how you can graph data so that there is some sort of relationship apparent between (μs) and (μk). That will take some outstanding problem solving & collaboration skills on your part. |
